• The common good refers to the welfare of the community as a whole, prioritizing collective interests.

• The Declaration asserts that governments derive their power from the consent of the governed.

• It advocates for the protection of individual rights while promoting societal well-being.

• Effective governance requires balancing individual freedoms with responsibilities to the community.
