Trusting What You Already Know
"Seeing From Within" A Quiet Place to Return to Yourself
There was a time when I needed confirmation.
I would feel something…
but then question it.
Was I being too sensitive?
Was I being too sensitive?
Too distant?
Too quick to step back?
So I would look outside of myself—
for clarity, for reassurance, for someone to agree.
What I Didn’t Realize
The clarity was already there.
I just didn’t trust it.
The Quiet Knowing
Lately, something has shifted.
The knowing still comes quietly.
It doesn’t announce itself.
It doesn’t push or demand.
It simply… rests.
And I’m learning to recognize it.
What It Feels Like
It feels like:
peace without explanation
a gentle “no” without fear
a steady “stay” without urgency
It doesn’t argue.
It doesn’t rush.
It just remains.
Learning to Trust It
I’ve started asking myself less questions.
Not because I don’t care—
but because I already know.
And when I stop overthinking,
the answer becomes clear again.
What I’m Learning
I don’t need to:
check with everyone
explain my decisions
wait for agreement
Truth doesn’t need approval.
A Quiet Prayer
Father,
Help me trust what You’ve already shown me.
Quiet the need to question what is clear.
Strengthen my ability to recognize truth
without needing confirmation.
Let me move with peace,
not hesitation.
And remind me that I am safe
in what I know.
Amen.
For You
If you keep asking the same question…
pause.
You may not be searching for an answer.
You may be avoiding trusting the one you already have.
My Anchor
I trust what is clear.
I do not override my knowing.
With love,
Carlene 🌿
