Outgrowing Old Circles
"Seeing From Within"
There comes a quiet moment in life
when you realize…
You are not who you used to be.
And because of that,
some spaces no longer fit the same.
Not because anyone is wrong.
Not because there is blame.
But because growth changes things.
The conversations shift.
The priorities deepen.
The things that once felt aligned
begin to feel unfamiliar.
And at first, this can feel lonely.
You may question yourself.
Wonder if you’re pulling away.
Wonder if something is broken.
But sometimes…
Nothing is broken.
You are simply growing.
Growth does not always look like gaining.
Sometimes, growth looks like gently recognizing
what no longer reflects who you are becoming.
This doesn’t mean bitterness.
It doesn’t mean judgment.
It means awareness.
I can honor where I’ve been
without forcing myself to remain there.
I can love people
without shrinking myself to fit old versions of me.
And I can trust
that making space
is not the same as abandonment.
Sometimes, outgrowing is simply preparing
for what fits next.
With Love,
Carlene🌿
“If this spoke to you, feel free to share or reflect quietly. I’m holding this space gently.”
