Finding My People

"Seeing From Within"

There was a time
I believed finding my people
meant searching harder.

Trying more.
Joining more.
Showing up more.

But what I am learning now
is softer than that.

My people are not found
through force.

They are found
through alignment.

Through becoming more honest
about who I am.

Through releasing the need
to be everything for everyone.

Through trusting
that what is meant for me
will recognize me.

My people may not always be the loudest.
They may not always be the most obvious.

But they feel like peace.

They feel like mutuality.
Like truth.
Like not needing to perform.

And perhaps
finding my people
begins first…

By becoming someone
I no longer have to hide from.

Because when I root deeper into myself,
what is aligned
has a way of finding me too.
